twenty minute nap and an orange popsicle...

clearly jettie wasn't the only tired one... this was yesterday. i was way too tired to post. irma has a fabulous new pool (kiddie) at her house. this little one... decided that a twenty minute nap would do... for the entire day. i will borrow one of jettie's famous lines... "holy moly". the orange popsicle all over just topped it all off. what you can't see are the stains on his inner arms, thighs, knees, other cheek, hands, toes, tummy...etc. jettie loved every minute of it! what a lucky bug!

jettie had a great day today. after irma's house..we went to trader joes... where we ran into our favorite captain... marie! jettie got lots of kisses and a fabulous tj's "balyoon". then it was off to cousin jordy's 5th grade graduation. (yikes! gettin old...gettin old!) we had a fabulous time... but we left early cuz someone (wink wink) needed some rest... or was it me? turns out we both did. nighty night!

yep... it's true! jettie is a boy. irma called today
(a bit of panic in her voice...wonder why?) but!
to yours, mine and our suprise... that was my reaction when
she told me that "jettie has a huge scratch on his face".
a little calendula gel and it will be gone in no time!
(just in time for something else to happen)

jettie had a fabulous monday. he got to go to the farm and visit the animals and he even played some baseball... on our way home we stopped at the spectrum to see dada... and when we got home... not even one eyelid lifted...from the car... to the mailbox... up three flights of stairs. (all the while...mama dodging the bright sun) jettie was so cozy in is "oeuf"... not even the fancy microwave meal beeping away could wake him. i hope that cookie was enough for dinner. i am sure i am going to pay for this at 4 am...but he's down for the count. this is a first! nigh nigh monkey bug... we love you! ( i guess i am having the gerber grads creamy chicken noodles and vegetables for dinner....ha!)

too bad "auntie todd" wasn't there to take me surfing!

superman havaianas....seriously?

SO. after lunch today...jettie was trying to wear mama's havis...i thought no time like the present. we busted out the superman havaianas and shockingly...they almost fit. the best part was how confused little jettie was by this new "jettie size" slipper. we both cracked up and took some fun photos. enjoy.
